All in all, I was greatly disappointed with my performance. For the next performance, I would simply go over and rehearse my monologue much more then I had for the previous performance; however, for the already completed performance, I got quite dejected the first time I forgot my lines. As an actor, I recognize that whenever I make a slight mistake, I know that the rest of my performance will not be "up to snuff" in my opinion, and therefore slightly give up on the performance. I think that this is all simply by virtue of the fact that I've always thought that theatre came easy to me, and thus thought that I could simply not rehearse for this performance as much as I originally thought. All in all, quite disappointing; however, I now know for next time, and will take this experience and learn from it.
