1. Personally, I find that the apple exercise was one of the most fun exercises. I think that this was because it was one of the only ones we did as a game; however, I don't think that this exercise was one of the exercises I learned the most from.
2. I find that the writing exercises that have been most challenging are the reflections. I've always been terrible at reflections, so I don't find this a surprise at all. Also, I don't find that any of the monologue exercises have been challenging, but I think that that's because I've been exposed to theatre a lot, and am used to the ideology.

Dexter Morgan
I was Dexter Morgan. Of all the secrets that my mind held, of all the secrets that only I knew, there was one which was always the most important thing to me, one which would end my life should people find out. And that's quite a lot to say from a secret serial killer who works in Miami Homicide. However, my biggest secret, that only I know, is that, deep down, I don't want to be a serial killer: I want to be a musician. The only reason I kill is due to the fact that, after I first killed my brother, Brian, for almost killing my half-sister, Deb, I became addicted. All I really want to do, is move to Venice, Italy, and become a street musician. If I could do that, my life would be complete.

Blood Brothers Overview
1. All in all, I greatly enjoyed the performance. In my opinion, Shane Snow and Adam Charles did an absolutely amazing job portraying Mickey and Eddie as they were growing up. I also found that the play itself was quite depressing, but had it's moments that were comedic which stopped it from being a complete story about how Mickey and Eddie's lives are terrible, and that we should all pity them.
2. Personally, my favourite character is Mickey. I think that this is due to the fact that he's the character that's most similar to me; however, as he started to get older and older, and started relying on the pills to get through life, I started to lose my interest in him. Also, throughout the play, the Narrator stood out as a major favourite of mine.
3. In my opinion, the people who did the best acting jobs were Shane Snow and Adam Charles. I think that the way that they acted Mickey and Eddie as they slowly got older was simply brilliant.
4. Personally, my favourite aspect of the performance was the musical portion of it. I also greatly enjoyed how there were usually people sitting around or in the shadows. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure what this question is.

Bad Acting
A few days ago, we had a performance at Arts Umbrella. Throughout the play, we lay down in several different spots, and were required to be "dead" for extended periods of time. Halfway through the performance, it dawned on me that I was in someone else's spot. Sneakily looking behind me, I saw the other actress sitting on a bench, facing the wall. I felt like the biggest moron ever for taking her spot, and making her sit at the back. At the intermission, I talked to her about it, and she asked what I was going on about. I realized that I was, in fact, not in her spot, and that she was at the back facing the wall for a monologue that happened soon after. And the performance went well and everyone lived happily ever after.

"God, I'm Beautiful..."
God I'm beautiful. I was just coming out of the bathroom the other day, and I saw myself in the mirror: I saw my beautiful blue eyes, and gorgeous dark brown hair, and got a sudden burst of confidence. I sprinted across the street to the nightclub, and started dancing like a priest at a LMFAO concert. It was insane. Then, due to my extraordinarily amazing good dancing skills and, no doubt my great looks, I met a few girls, got their numbers, brought a few of them back to my place, went onto my bed, and played monopoly. Life is great.

Do you want an apple?!
I found this exercise to be helpful in finding characteristics. I find that, next time, it could be helpful to do exercises like this (but possibly more in depth) on characters that we already know of, and have worked on for a while. Of course, if we're doing monologues that we have yet to write, this could prove to be slightly difficult.
I can't go to rehearsal tomorrow. I know it's short notice, but my mother fell while climbing the italian alps, and now we are about to fly towards Toscana to help her get back to the neighbouring province of Veneto. Deeply sorry, Jim

Excuse
Sorry everyone, as much as I'd absolutely love to come to rehearsal today and see all of your ecstatic, quite stunning faces, I, unfortunately, can't make it tomorrow. What happened was my sister's best friend's boyfriend was throwing the football around with his friend while I was studying my lines outside on the porch, when all of a sudden, my sister's best friend's boyfriend threw the football and it kind of... Well... It hit a tree which fell and knocked a bird out of the air which, in turn, accidentally flew into my head and gave me a third degree concussion. I know won't be able to act again for another few months.
Truly sorry,
Sam

Inspector Billingsgate
For the first summative, I found this to be fun, well worked out, and I don't think there was anything that I'd change about it. I found there was a good amount of time for prepping, same with the set design. One thing I wish we had done was make it slightly more playful and go deeper into the characters that we worked on.
